CHESHIRE STEAM FAIR JOINS THE CASUALTY LIST

OUTDOOR SHOWS LTD., having cancelled May's Yorkshire Game & Country Fair and the UK Tractor Show & Castle Howard Traction Engine Rally, plus last weekend's Yorkshire Modified Car Show, today added Cheshire Steam Fair (July 11/2) to their events called off due to Covid-19.

A statement on their Facebook page posted today by owner Richard Ashworth reads: "Due to the current circumstances with Coronavirus we have taken the decision to cancel Cheshire Steam Fair 2020.

"Traders, public campers and ticket holders who have already purchased for the above show will receive a refund of the monies they have paid to Outdoor Shows Ltd. Refunds will be made through the payment method originally used.

"Regarding our remaining 2020 shows we are continuing to organise them and will continue to monitor the current situation following government advice. We will be making announcements on our website and Facebook page.

"We will make an announcement on the 1st July in regard to Whitby Traction Engine Rally (scheduled to take place on 31st July, 1st and 2nd August).

"We will make an announcement on the 14th July in regard to Astle Park Traction Engine Rally (scheduled to take place on 8th & 9th August).

"We will make an announcement on the 3rd August in regard to Whitby War Weekend (29th 30th 31st August) and Yorkshire Traction Engine Rally (5th & 6th September).

"Many thanks for your support and stay healthy. Social distancing is unfortunately key at these times and we all have a part to play before normality can return to our everyday lives."
