MARK SHUFFLES THE EVENTS PACK FOR 2020/21; CLASSIC SHOWS CANCEL MAY EVENTS

MARK WOODWARD has updated his events plans for 2020, the second such 'shuffling of the pack' since the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Cumbria based events organiser told CMM: "Due to the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic we have had to make further changes to our 2020 events list. Apologies, but the wellbeing and safety of all our visitors, traders, exhibitors, contractors and our own staff is of absolute paramount importance in these uncertain times."

Many 2020 events have been postponed until next year with the first scheduled event of 2020 now planned for August 30, though Mark advises enthusiasts and traders to keep checking his website for the latest news.

Classic vehicle show events now changed:

Hutton-in-the-Forest, Sunday 24th May now postponed until May 2021
Ripley Castle, Monday 25th May now moved to Monday 31st August 2020
Ripon Racecourse, Sunday 14th June now postponed until June 2021
Hoghton Tower, Sunday 28th June now postponed until June 2021
Leighton Hall, Sunday 5th July (first postponed to 9th August 2020) now postponed to July 2021
Lytham Hall, Sunday 2nd August now postponed to August 2021
Tynedale Park, Sunday 16th August now postponed to August 2021

Classic Vehicle Shows scheduled to take place:

Ripon Racecourse, Sunday 30th August 2020
Ripley Castle, Monday 31st August 2020 (new date)
Hoghton Tower, Sunday 6th September 2020

4x4 & Vintage Spares Days now changed:

Three Counties, Malvern, Sunday 19th July now postponed to July 2021
Newbury Showground, Sunday 16th August now cancelled

4x4 & Vintage Spares Days scheduled to take place:

Newbury Showground, Sunday 4th October 2020
Three Counties Showground, Malvern Sunday 25th October 2020

Meanwhile, Huddersfield based organiser Classic Shows has also announced further cancellations. They told CMM:

The following Classic Shows events, due to take place in May, will now be cancelled and rescheduled:

Sunday 24 May 2020 - Claydon Classic Vehicle Show
Claydon Estate, Buckinghamshire
Rescheduled date: TBC
 
Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May 2020 - Cheshire Classic Car & Motorcycle Show - Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield
Rescheduled date: Sunday 19 July
The remaining schedule of events for 2020 are currently unchanged and we will continue to assess the position and provide updates as we approach each event.

Those visitors, traders and exhibitors who have already booked into one (or more) of the above events will automatically have their tickets moved to the rescheduled event. We will make an announcement in due course regarding those events yet to be rearranged to run in 2020.
