Organisers of East Barnet's Cars in the Park have a simple message for CMM readers: "Don’t miss the biggest, free, Car Show this July, in North London ‘Cars in the Park’, it’s the place to be!"

The Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chads organise this event and spokesman Ian Hodgson told CMM: "If you own a classic, custom or modified vehicle and want a great day out on Sunday 3rd July, then this is the one for you, your family and friends – there’s something for all ages and entry is FREE!

“Once again, a wide range of vehicles will be on show, including pre-registered club displays. All vehicles on display have a chance of winning one of five Show & Shine trophies.

"Along with the car show there is a huge fun fair, live bands all day, performing arts, numerous stalls, beer tent, food, drinks, etc. Up to 10,000 visitors will enjoy browsing around the 'Cars in the Park', in the beautiful surroundings of Oak Hill Park."

Gates open at 10:30 for show vehicles only, no pre-booking, just turn up at Oak Hill Park, Church Hill Road, East Barnet, EN4 8JS. The festival activities start at 12:00, awards at 4pm with live bands, food and drinks until sunset (approx 21:30). Added Ian: "Cars in the Park is part of the East Barnet Festival, now in its 21st year and is a non-profit making, charity event. Entry is FREE, so donations are gratefully received.
