Tons of Classic & Vintage Spares Go On Offer
Until his sudden death last October, Gerry Walker (pictured above) spent over 40 years selling spares, services and automobilia to 1000s of classic vehicle owners the world over.
Now his family are putting the entire stock of the famous Morecambe based company - Lancaster Vintage & Classic Spares - he ran with his late partner Mel Woods, up for sale this month, literally tons of items for vehicles from the 1920s to the 1970s.
"When dad died there was no-one left to take over" said Gerry's daughter Tracy Walker. "The Warehouse is stuffed to the gills with spares that he'd accumulated down the years, so we as a family thought the best thing we could do was sell the entire stock in one lot. We'd like all these spares to go back into the market, helping enthusiasts keep their vehicles on the road - dad would definitely have wanted that.”
The spares will be sold on Saturday, September 24, 2016. "The sale price will include the purchaser clearing the stock within an agreed timeframe." added Tracy "And we're asking for best and final offers to be submitted as a sealed bid."
Prospective buyers can view the stock at the premises: The Warehouse, Baxtergate (off Lord Street), Morecambe, Lancashire, LA4 5HX. For further information and appointments to view call Tracy Walker on 07947 247977.
